Responsible riding policy
Horse welfare and rider safety decide what we will and will not run. Both sit above itinerary, above imagery and above preference.
Horse welfare first
Working hours, load, footing, heat and rest are managed by the yard that knows each horse. A horse that should not go out does not go out.
Weight limits, tack fit and shoeing standards are confirmed before a ride is offered, not after.
Honest rider assessment
Fast wilderness riding among game requires a genuinely secure independent seat at all paces, including a controlled gallop away from a spook.
We ask about experience frankly and we place riders accordingly. Where a level cannot be verified in advance, an on-arrival assessment ride is arranged.
Wildlife distance and conduct
Riding lines are chosen to avoid pressuring animals. Elephant, buffalo and predators are given wide, unhurried space, and guides carry the final word on approach and withdrawal.
Communities and land
We ride on conservancy and community land under local permission. Routes respect grazing, water points, settlements and seasonal movement, and are adjusted whenever local guidance asks for it.
Helmets and equipment
Certified helmets are expected on every ride. Body protectors, radios, first-aid provision and evacuation planning are confirmed with the operating yard for each journey.
